Quote: “In order to be wealthy, you must be healthy”

Why do we fall for health scams!

Enough is enough let’s squash the false claims.

According to the Federal Trade Commission consumers waste billions of dollars each year on unproven, falsely marketed, and sometimes dangerous health care products and treatments.

The marketing of health products and exercise equipment has become a billion dollar industry. The industry has not become a billion dollar industry because there are great products or advice being sold to society. The marketing of these products has become a deceitful claim into tricking the consumer into thinking the product advertised is a quick fix to any and all of their weight management problems.

The advertisers make the inevitable look realistic and attainable. They know just what you want to hear and see and they target your eyes and ears for your emotional susceptibility. If all these health products worked we would not have one of the highest obesity rates in the world. We would have a population of healthy in-shape people walking around everywhere because of the purchases of billions of dollars of phony health products.

The truth is people don’t want to hear the truth about losing weight or getting into shape. They have been brainwashed by the advertisements that claim the impossible to be possible. The truth is, there is no magic pill, machine or exercise equipment that will turn you into a super model or bodybuilder instantly or in 30 days.

An abundance of literature in the exercise field supports the way to life long weight loss management is through portion control of food and exercising regularly. Unfortunately, you cannot get into shape and eat right and revert back to bad habits you have to continually live a healthy lifestyle for life. Little by little, step-by-step you will keep your health forever. Don’t sprint the first part of a life long marathon of health.

Exercise: The Only Free "Magic Pill"!
A study conducted at Michigan university and Botsford general hospital showed patients who performed cardiovascular training, flexibility training 3x a week and resistance training 2x a week showed drastic improvements and all these areas of health. Additionally, these health improvements correlated to decreases in controlling symptoms of Parkinson’s disease.
